Top Row Songs

Zelda’s Lullaby--- Right-Up-Left-Right-Up-Left

CHILD

Used to prove connection with Royal Family of Hyrule. This will open doors, allow you to talk with people, or cause something to happen in a dungeon.

--- You learn this one after the first meeting with Zelda. When you leave, Impa will teach you it.

 

Saria’s Song--- Down-Right-Left-Down-Right-Left

CHILD

This song allows you to talk to Darania the first time. It can also be used to talk with Saria telepathically.

--- Saria will teach it to you when you meet her agai in the Lost Woods, after you meet Zelda.

 

Epona’s Song--- Up-Left-Right-Up-Left-Right

CHILD

Summons Epona to you in areas where she can go. Also, if you play this for cows, you get a free bottle of Lon Lon Milk if you have an empty bottle.

--- Malon will teach it to you at the Lon Lon Ranch, after you wake Talon up at Castle Hyrule.

 

Song of the Sun--- Right-Down-Up-Right-Down-Up

CHILD

Freezes Redeads and Gidbos, changes day to night or night to day, and sometimes gets you a big fairy.

--- In the graveyard, go to the triforce symbol at the back. Play Zelda’s Lullaby and go down to the resulting mini-dungeon. At the very back, on a tombstone, the check the wall.

 

Song of Storms--- A-Down-Up-A-Down-Up

ADULT

Causes it to rain. If used at the windmill in Kakariko as a child, it will drain the well: allowing passage to the bottom of the well dungeon. Sometimes, can be played to open up holes in the ground or for a red fairy.

--- Pull out you ocarina for the guy in the windmill at Karariko Village.

 

Song of Time--- Right-A-Down-Right-A-Down

CHILD

Opens the Door of Time. Moves blocks with the Time Symbol

--- When you get the three spiritual stones, return to Hyrule. Then, retrieve the Ocarina of Time and follow Zelda’s instructions.

 

Warp Songs

There are six warp points in Hyrule. These look like large hexagons with the triforce mark on it. Each one of them has the medallion symbol for the temple they represent.

 

Minuet of Forest--- A-Up-Left-Right-Left-Right

ADULT

Warps to Lost Woods.

--- When you enter the area with the warp point at the Lost Woods.

 

Bolero of Fire--- Down-A-Down-A-Right-Down-Right-Down

ADULT

Warps to Death Mountain Crater.

--- When you enter the area with the warp point at Death Mountain Crater.

 

Serenade of Water--- A-Down-Right-Right-Left

ADULT

Warps to Lake Hylia.

--- When you get the Iron Boots from the Ice Cavern.

 

Requiem of Spirit--- A-Down-A-Right-Down-A

ADULT

Warps to Desert Colossus

--- Enter the Spirit Temple as an adult, then exit.

 

Nocturn of Shadow--- Left-Right-Right-A-Left-Right-Down

ADULT

Warps to Graveyard.

--- When you’ve completed the Forest, Water, and Fire Temple, go to Kakariko.

 

Prelude of Light--- Up-Right-Up-Right-Left-Up

ADULT

Warps to Temple of Time.

--- After you complete the Forest temple, return to the Temple of Time.

 

Other Songs

Scarecrow’s Song--- Up to you!

CHILD- ADULT

Summons Pierre the Scarecrow.

--- Play a song of your own for the scarecrow at Lake Hylia, then play it again for him as an adult.
